Modes de shortcode dans les e-mails

When sending emails from TaxDome, you can either select accounts or specific contacts as recipients. Since selecting one of those modes also affect which shortcodes will be available for use, we call them shortcode modes. Here, we go into details of how it works.

When using shortcodes in emails, you’ll need to select either the Account shortcodes or Contact shortcodes mode:

• When the Account shortcodes mode is chosen, you select accounts as the recipients, and you can apply account name and custom account field shortcodes.  

• When the Contact shortcodes mode is chosen, you select contacts or specific emails as the recipients, and you can apply both account and contact shortcodes, including ones based on custom fields. 

  Date shortcodes sont disponibles dans les deux modes.

  Pour sélectionner le mode shortcode :

• Lors de la création ou de la modification d'un modèle e-mail : sélectionnez le mode shortcode dans la section Mode .

  

• When sending an email in bulk: In the New email window, click Contact shortcodes, then select the shortcode mode from the drop-down.

  

Compte shortcodes mode

When you choose the Account shortcodes mode while creating an email template or sending an email in bulk, TaxDome sends one email per account. All contacts linked to that account are automatically included as CC recipients on that single email, so everyone at the same account receives a shared email thread. The email can be found in the Clients > Accounts > Communication > Email section as a single thread.

Utilisez ce mode lorsque votre message concerne le compte dans son ensemble plutôt qu'une personne en particulier.

Contact shortcodes

When you choose the Contact shortcodes mode while creating an email template or sending an email in bulk, TaxDome sends a separate, personalized email to each selected contact. No one is CC’d — each contact receives their own private email thread, which can be found in the Clients > Accounts > Communication > Email section.

Utilisez ce mode lorsque votre message doit être personnalisé pour chaque destinataire. Dans ce mode, vous pouvez utiliser les contacts. shortcodes comme le prénom, le nom de famille, e-mail adresse, numéro de téléphone ou tout autre champ de contact personnalisé. Date shortcodes

When creating an email template or sending an email in bulk, you can use date shortcodes in both the Account shortcodes and Contact shortcodes modes.
