Seamless Integration with the Tax Software

  1. Send a prepared form directly to TaxDome from tax software. Save time by printing straight from any Tax Software (ProSeries, Lacerte, Drake, etc.) into TaxDome.
  2. Save your docs directly to the client folder. The first and simplest way of getting а document from your tax program (such as Proseries or Drake) or from your scanning software to TaxDome is to save it directly to the client folder in the TaxDome Drive.
  3. Edit files in your apps and save to TaxDome. TaxDome Drive allows you to edit documents directly from Windows Explorer/Mac Finder with any third-party applications you use on your computer.

  1. Create tasks for your clients. When you add tasks to a chat, they are conveniently displayed as to-do items with checkboxes. Once all the to-dos are checked off by the client, you get an email notification. Clients conveniently mark their tasks completed from the notification on their dashboard.

Optimal Security When Using the System

  1. Share docs with third parties or clients without portal access. You can safely share any file uploaded to TaxDome with a third-party recipient, such as a mortgage banker or a lawyer.
  2. Request documents from clients and non-clients without them logging in. Create a general guest account where anyone can securely upload documents for your firm without portal access.
  3. Turn on two-factor authentication. Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security when accessing TaxDome. The additional step of authenticating your identity makes it much harder for an attacker to access your data, even if your credentials have become compromised.
  4. Use Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA). Knowledge-based authentication (KBA) is required for IRS Form 8879. TaxDome fully meets IRS requirements at a cost of $1 per signature.
